So, Theo and Owen both started at Mary's in September. Owen was a happy little camper- with both Nolan and Braeden the same age as him, but Theo, not so much. He was the oldest by far, and I think really missed his friends who went off to preschool. So, after lots of debate, and looking at new schools, he's switched over to Next Generation preschool. He's been there a month now, and still has a few tears in the morning, but it's gotten MUCH better, and he really seems to have a great time while he's there. He's has a very sweet class, and talks a lot about his friends Graham (who always seems to get in trouble), Tyler, and Cora. He loves his teacher, Miss Jenn. Any picture he draws at home he has us write, "Love you Miss Jenn!" on it. In a HUGE surprise, our picky little eater has become the big eater of the class. "I don't know where he puts it all!" is what we've heard many times. Same boy who could go days only eating crackers and milk. Anyway, we're very happy we made this decision.
Owen is loving daycare, for the most part. Most days, he's saying "bye" to me before we even get to the door. Hope it stays that way :)
