We have had a great 4th of July weekend. It was our 4th anniversary this weekend. We can't believe it's been 4 years! To celebrate, we dropped the boys off at my parents house and drove up to Lincoln, NH (near Waterville) and did a zipline tour. They drove us up into the mountains in an old army 4WD (it was really steep) and then we did 6 different ziplines in the mountains. It was a lot of fun. The longest one was around 1200 ft (I think), and there was one that had a 15 ft drop at the start that was great. I think they said that you get up to about 35 mph. It was so nice to do something fun, just the two of us. We hung out there for a bit after the tour- it was right on the Kancamangus HWY. There was so much to do there- we would totally go back. Then we came back to the house (without the boys!), went out to a nice dinner and then had the house to ourselves. We actually got to sleep, uninterrupted, all night, and sleep in (of course, we were up by 8- but that seems really late these days). We went to get the boys the next day and took Theo to see Wall-E. Loved it.
On Sunday, we went to Julianna's birthday party- where Theo had a lot of fun playing with the girls, as always. He LOVES the girls. And today we went to Stony Brook for a walk and picnic. Right now all the boys (Mark included) are napping and the house is quiet. Mark starts camp tomorrow, so it'll be me and the boys for the rest of the summer :)
