It's been a long week with a LOT of rain. This meant lots of time indoors for us all to get antsy. After a lot of drawing, playing with playdoh, and playing cars (theo's favorite thing right now), we built Theo's Restaurant with some old boxes and wrapping paper rolls. We took turns ordering and cooking for each other. It wound up being alot of fun- although Theo insisted on making and ordering only pasta. Whenever I'd ask for something else, he'd say "only oni" and that was that. Of course, Theo's Restaurant lasted only one day, 'someone' pulled down the sign and wrapping paper rolls the next morning. Theo blamed Owen, but it seems very suspicious to me. It's been hilarious listening to Theo lately- he's totally trying to outsmart us. The other day at lunch he turned to me and said, "I ask you something and you say, 'Yes, Theo'". A couple of minutes later, he said to me, "I have a treat mom?" (and then proceeded to get upset when I didn't say, 'Yes, Theo'). (Of course, I caved a minute later because it was so cute...).
Marley is having a rough week, as you can see. She has bad allergies and her paws get really itchy. She managed to chew one very raw, so we went to the vet and had to put her on anti-biotics, steroid cream, benedryl, and she has to wear this cone on her head so she won't chew. She has a hard time walking around with it on- she keeps bumping into stuff and is very unhappy with it. However, Owen is completely fascinated by it and spent most of the early morning staring at her and trying to play with the cone. It was really funny (although Marley may not have thought so).
