Time is flying!

We can't believe it's the middle of August already. The boys are growing like crazy. Theo is saying more and more every day (and sleeping less and less!). Last night we put him to bed at 7:30 and when I checked on him at 9 he was wide awake in his bed with AT LEAST 30 books surrounding him, drinking his water, and he looked up at me and said, "I have a snack?". When he finally fell asleep, he wound up falling off the bed and waking up again. Between that and no naps, he is oh so pleasant to be around in the evenings.

Owen is getting bigger by the minute. He's a solid 20 1/2 pounds now and can pull himself up to sitting when he's lying on the floor. We know he's minutes away from crawling. Marley will be in big trouble as he is obsessed with her and we know the second he can move he is going straight for the poor girl. Speaking of our little girl, she is on the mend after a few weeks of anti-biotics, creams, benedryl, and the like. I think we've spoken with the vet more in the past month than we have total in the 4 years we've had her.

We've had such a nice summer with the boys. We're trying to cram in as much fun as possible before we all start school again. Mark and I actually got away to Ogunquit for a few days a couple of weeks ago and had a great time alone (but missed our boys- especially when we saw so many little ones on the beach). They had a great time with Nanny and Papa- they ate and slept like champs.

Here are some pics from the last few weeks: some from a visit to Southwick's Zoo with Auntie Kristin, some from the "Big Bugs" exhibit at Garden in the Woods (where Theo led the way with the map), and some others.
